Dear Dave,

Thanks very much for your email. While we work with all farmers and seek to persuade conventional producers to move to more and more sustainable practices, we are indeed very much against factory farming. I run the Farm Aid hotline and I would like to invite TewksburyOdor to join our Farmer Resource Network, which includes many anti-factory farm organizations from all around the country. With you in the Network, I can then funnel relevant hotline calls to you to help in your efforts. I’ve attached a brief survey we use to update ourselves on groups new to us and add them to our Network. If you’re interested (of course there’s no charge to join the Network), please fill out the survey and e-return it me at your convenience.

In addition, just in case you haven’t already, I’d suggest contacting GRACE (Global Resource Action Center for the Environment), a national group which is also part of our Network. Karen Hudson is the contact: 309.742.8895 & khudson@elmnet.net. The GRACE Factory Farm Project works to help communities protect themselves from the public health, environmental, and socioeconomic damages caused by factory farms.

Thanks again,
Joel
